Whoever: "Whatever is wrong . . . in the United States" is the direct result and responsibility of the Chickenhawk-in-Chief, who constantly makes public promises that he will do everything in his power to care for all veterans, and then breaks his word as he CUTS the funding for all programs that were to aid veterans and their families. An example: Walter Reed Army Hospital.

As with every program from which Bushit cuts the funding, the tax dollars "saved" are added to his budget for his completely unjustifiable and, thus illegal war against Afghanistan and Iraq.

Whatever is wrong, it seems to be the same as in the United States, Zeus, as the recent scandal concerning Walter Reed Hospital proves. Miles of red tape, which keeps veterans from getting the care they need when they need it; extremely unhygienic conditions that threaten the quality of the little care that is provided; not to mention mistreatment, and in many cases downright abuse of older and incapacitated veterans by the very personnel that's supposed to be looking out for them. I am not a supporter of war, but if we put our citizens in harm's way, we better be ready to take care of them and their families. Agree or not with the policies that send them out there, they are our brethren and not equipment that can be disposed of once their use has expired. I'm saddened by Duke's story and his death.
